In Unanimous Vote, Firefighters Endorse Marine and Council Co-Chair Pete Smith for County Executive

Anne Arundel County's Firefighters Union endorsed Pete Smith for County Executive citing his strong "track record supporting working families and public safety." Former vice-president of the firefighters union Robert Howarth added that he has known Smith for years as a "stand-up" guy. "I've always liked what Pete has stood for and that's why I'm supporting him for county executive." The union highlighted Smith's past support for public safety and and highlighted Smith's plans to bring staffing levels to full strength throughout the county.
